The new rugged ZeeVee ZyPer4K-XR and ZyPer4K-XS encoders/decoders, cost-effective and space-saving, energy efficient and available in three to four weeks, debut at ISE 2022.
The main novelty of the ZeeVee booth at ISE 2022 (5K150) are the two new encoder/decoder models ZyPer4K-XR and ZyPer4K-XS, which extend the performance and reliability of ZeeVee’s signal distribution solutions even to harsh environments, space constrained and sensitive to noise.
These new models, in fact, allow the distribution and switching of uncompressed signals with 720p, 1080p HD, Ultra HD and 4K resolution, with audio and control via standard 10Gb Ethernet switch. Their IP-based architecture allows switching from one source to another without frame loss, even at high resolutions such as 4K. Both units offer a 1GB port and USB Human Interface Device Class (USB HID) support for devices such as keyboard, mouse, game controllers, and alphanumeric displays.
Featuring a very small footprint and particularly light chassis, made of durable aluminum, the ZyPer4K-XR and ZyPer4K-XS encoders/decoders can be placed practically anywhere, and are suitable for both rental and fixed installation even in applications such as yachts luxury, military contexts and other environments usually considered “difficult”, characterized by specific needs. Finally, both ZyPer4K-XR and XyPer4K-XS include built-in support for energy-efficient 10 Gbps Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing data and power to flow over an IP network via simple Ethernet cables. Fanless thermal management prevents drives from overheating without generating annoying noises.
Another interesting novelty of the ZeeVee stand is the ZyPer management platform with ZyPerPad wall control panel. The latest version of this management platform offers advanced features such as multiview, preset and grid, along with many other important control features that significantly improve the user experience. Designed to control ZyPer4K (SDVoE, uncompressed 4K, 10Gbps) and ZyPerUHD (JPEG2000, compressed, 1Gbps) AVoIP encoders and decoders, the platform enables drag and drop creation and management of multiple views from up to 19 sources and video walls (up to 15×15) via an intuitive on-screen interface. The ZyPerPad IP-enabled keyboard controller also provides an easy way to send commands to the ZyPer management platform. The wall-mounted unit’s browser-based graphical user interface allows installers to easily configure the unit and supports DHCP and static IP addresses.
