Reliability, interoperability and quality / price ratio are the hallmarks of the Vivolink proposal, EET’s proprietary brand dedicated to accessories and third parties for AV pro installations. Katia Gomareschi accompanied us to discover all the technologies on display at the ISE 2022 stand.
Cabling and cable management, supports for monitors, matrices and processors, extenders, video cameras, speakers and all the technology needed to set up “hybrid” environments that meet the application needs of today. The universe of System Integration – with the daily needs of each professional – is perfectly aligned with Vivolink’s offer. Quality and reliability able to provide partners with targeted support for all the needs of the corporate, education and other sectors, towards the creation of effective user experiences.
We asked Katia Gomareschi, EET’s private label Sales Manager, how Vivolink moves in the professional AV market and which technologies are most promising for the future of these installations. “Our proprietary brand that revolves around the AV Pro world returns to ISE for the fourth time – says the manager during the tour at the stand -. In the years of a ‘forced’ halt we have focused on the development of monitor supports, but also on hardware and cabling solutions, from entry level to top of the range, for the most modern meeting rooms and classrooms. Then there is the issue of interoperability: each Vivolink installation integrates perfectly with the products of other brands. So, for example, if a matrix is already present we can add an extender or a cable without any compatibility problem.” Design and quality materials are therefore the basis of a wide variety of products: scalers, extenders and switches for the transport and management of signals in Full HD and 4K; audio and video matrices, video wall processors for 4K signals, splitters, and then extenders, amplifiers and speakers for audio signals. Furthermore, PTZ and traditional video cameras, also with auto tracking, combined with other interesting solutions for videoconferencing.
Cabling is another technological issue very dear to EET’s private label. At the ISE stand we found mainly pure copper cables (HDMI, DVI and VGA, audio cables, etc.), fibre optic and USB cables. “The promotion of this range, in an international exhibition location, is a priority for us – explains Katia Gomareschi -. We realised that Vivolink is capable of offering excellent products, but that many professionals still do not know their quality and functionality. We offer our partners the opportunity to test each product before buying it and it takes very little for them to realise the difference between Vivolink copper or fibre optic cables and other solutions. Of course, we also offer standard cables, which we offer through other brands of the EET ecosystem, but here we are talking about professional AV integration, where absolute high-performance, reliable and safe technologies are needed, in terms of isolation and correct signal transmission as well.” All this is combined with solutions for cable management: organisers, clips and straps, sheaths, cable glands, supports and accessories of all kinds. Technologies that often go unnoticed but make a difference in Pro AV experiences.
What are the most widespread application trends on the Italian market? Vivolink ranges from System Integrators who choose large format monitor stands for the meeting rooms of companies and large industrial groups to many requests for integration with third-party hardware in school and conference environments. An important “niche” is represented by luxury yachts, where very flexible cables and resistance to unfavourable conditions are needed. In short, the presence of the brand is complete and in continuous growth, thanks to the presence of two specialists for the Pro AV sector who reach the national territory extensively.
For future projects, Katia doesn’t want to overreact. But we know that brand new video wall supports will soon arrive in Italy, further support for the “new normal” of professional AV in many vertical markets.
