Powersoft introduces Verso a device gateway designed to connect current Powersoft products to their MyUniverso cloud platform.
Gateway Verso supports system integrators and IT managers to take full advantage of the cloud platform. Formerly known as Universe, MyUniverso has joined MyPowersoft, providing access to the cloud platform for all users with MyPowersoft accounts.
Verso is a half-RU device designed to allow access to the MyUniverso cloud platform and all related functionality across Powersoft’s current amplifier portfolio, this allows centralised monitoring and updates for all connected amplifiers, as well as support for Powersoft’s Dynamic Music Distribution (DMD) solution.
Verso features data logging and saving functions, these guarantee local continuity and operation even when internet connection interruptions occur. Verso is equipped with the Easy Swap procedure, which was introduced as a feature of Unica at ISE 2023, this makes it simple, convenient and quick to resolve downtime in the event of a malfunction. The gateway is compatible with third-party cloud platforms, giving users access to the backend information of the underlying cloud project. In addition, with Verso it is possible to access the remote firmware update functionality of MyUniverso, thus minimising the need to visit the installation site several times.
Powersoft is also introducing the new lower power amplifiers in the Unica 1K8 and Unica 5K4 series, designed for smaller applications. In addition, Dynamic Music Distribution (DMD) features, previously only found in Mezzo, have been added to the entire Unica series. With high power density, first-class sound quality and class-leading efficiency, Unica is the latest generation of cloud-based amplifier platforms. The launch of Unica’s new low-power models and the addition of DMD features that expand the range of musical functionality, fulfils the ‘One Fits All’ platform concept and underlines the company’s commitment to offering a versatile platform capable of meeting diverse installation design needs.
