Philips Professional Display Solutions and Crestron join forces to create an integrated AV/IP solution for Philips large format displays.
Crestron, in collaboration with Intel, has developed a network encoder (DM-NVX-D80-IoAV) that, using the Philips PDS Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) port, will redefine the new Philips large format displays in terms of a true “certified solution”, because it allows the immediate distribution of 4K audio/video content over any network.
The result of this EMEA-wide collaboration is to add new operational capabilities and increased functionality to Philips’ entire range of Large Format Displays, particularly for the corporate market.

An intelligent, complete and scalable solution
The Crestron DM-NVX decoder connects to the Philips OPS port and is powered by the display itself, eliminating cumbersome cables and power supplies, reducing installation costs and providing an integrated, seamless network AV solution. The DM-NVX is also designed to make it easier to mount displays flush with the wall.
This intelligent technology can also be integrated with the IOT-based Crestron XiO Cloud platform, which allows for monitoring, management and control of each display from a single location. It also allows the entire system to be deployed without programming.
