The tour in the world of Tutondo products shows a company that pays attention to detail and creates solutions for those who do not want to compromise: from evacuation alarm systems with an eye to design and sound quality, to integrated solutions for multiroom audio systems.
On the last day of the Integrated Systems Europe trade show in Barcelona, we went to visit the Tutondo booth, where the team welcomed us with a tour of the many products brought to the fair. The first range shown was that of wall mounted devices for multiroom audio systems, the key principle of which is ease of use, for both end users and installers. Tutondo offers a series of solutions with wall controls or controllable via web browser or app, available for both android and iOS, which stand out for their practicality and ease of integration with home automation systems for home management. The systems are made up of power supplies, controls to be placed on the wall and speakers, in case of need for more speakers (active), the number of power supplies can be increased, remaining in a single system and with a single control. Within this line comes Herus, a new gatwick for DIN rail home automation, which also gives the possibility to manage systems with web pages and act as a multimedia music source, all in a single app. Obviously it acts as a pilot centre for wall systems, which the company particularly cares about, because having a system that is always reachable with a display with an intuitive interface is sometimes more effective than the app.
Another important market for the company is that of EVAC systems, in which they have achieved excellent results, starting from the musical experience, they created speakers with an elegant design, but also suitable for music, not just speech. The possibility of using one system instead of two, of sound diffusion and purely dedicated to evacuation, can also mean a lower final cost. Again different models are available, some very discreet that can be hidden on the wall and can be customized with different colours and specific finishes to remain within the EN54 standard. These products are in great demand by the market for all those applications where it is important to hear clearly, but the system shouldn’t be seen, such as museums or shops where safety is to be accompanied by aesthetics and audio quality.
As for the voice alarm systems for evacuation, there are different solutions for power supply, amplifiers and microphones to adapt to all applications and to send multiple simultaneous messages in different places. It is important to underline the particularity of Tutondo to offer even very small and modular amplifiers in the range, which therefore allow the system to be scaled according to needs and without waste. Obviously, the customization possibilities also cover the keys for direct calls, depending on the zone or message, as well as allowing, through configuration, the possibility of creating automatic events using weekly tables.
In conclusion, the team is satisfied with the fair, despite the number of visitors was not equal to the pre-COVID19 one, a partially expected result, given the complex situation. Still a success, even if there are doubts about the timing of the next one, only eight months away, and about the duration of the event, in fact the fourth day weighs on the organization and does not seem to be as profitable as the others.
