Tripleplay and ONELAN have presented a new solution that aims to help companies and organizations in the management of social distancing, which is essential to face the challenge of Covid-19. The solution is based on the use of anonymous data provided by CCTV cameras, thanks to which it’s possible to activate in real time a dedicated content to the occupancy level of each environment. Sent to digital signage displays installed in key points inside or outside offices, shops and other public spaces, the notice will serve to inform users about whether or not they can access individual spaces. It should be emphasized that the use of CCTV cameras, in addition to exploiting existing systems, guarantees a high level of precision.
Obviously, in case of updating the local guidelines on social distancing, the occupancy parameters can also be easily adapted, in order to guarantee safety for visitors, customers and employees.
Crowding levels can be displayed as traffic lights or as dynamic signage metrics, which not only ensures an immediate perception of the degree of crowding, but also avoids the need for an operator for regulating and limiting access. In short, this new solution based on digital signage systems allows significant savings, as well as more precise and secure management, especially in large environments that have numerous entry and exit points.
