A nice conversation with the Marketing and Business Development Manager of Exertis, Maria Grazia Ragazzini, allows us to outline a picture of this large distribution reality, at ISE with a meeting and reception stand
A single stand that constituted a microcosm within which different languages were heard and both Exertis Europe in all its nuances and Exertis America were represented, in short, the entire “Exertis world” in a few square meters in the heart of ISE 2023.
“We are very satisfied with the fair and the understanding between the various Exertis” began Maria Grazia Ragazzini. “In just one stand we represented several countries, and the Exertis group is sparkling and cohesive, we have created a very lively stand. Regardless of these considerations, however, it was a successful ISE: many visitors, many projects to discuss. Ours was essentially a reception stand, without products. A meeting point from which we have started the various tours, accompanying customers to discover the suppliers’ stands, their solutions and the many innovations presented here, which will soon arrive on the market. This year I have noticed a great desire for innovation, as if the post-covid period had brought so much energy devoted to evolution and technological improvement.”
The Exertis world is vast, we know it well, but if it were to indicate a technological novelty on which to focus, which one would Maria Grazia Ragazzini choose?
“I would say Nexmosphere, a digital signage brand that combines BrightSign proposals with revolutionary motion sensors, and in particular presented here a new sensor that literally allows you to browse multimedia content on multiple screens without even touching its surface! A simple gesture is enough for the movement sensors to capture it and translate it into instructions for the alternation of information on the screens. Nexmosphere is certainly, for now, a niche brand, but we believe in it a lot, it will make itself known.”
And at this point, it’s impossible not to ask Maria Grazia for a hint on the more general lines of this edition of ISE: which themes have most characterized the 2023 edition?
“I have seen a lot of interest in the videoconferencing, meeting rooms, audio/video soundbar sector, in particular for remote working” replies Maria Grazia Ragazzini. And she elaborates: “There is a strong trend towards smart working, and the need to improve the audio in environments such as auditoriums and conference rooms, to hear better even when you are not physically present. For us, in this area, the first product remains Barco ClickShare, but we want to expand our audio proposal, we are not particularly recognized as an audio brand, even if we have excellent brands. Now we would like to expand the catalog and be better recognized as an audio distributor as well.”
Before saying goodbye, there was also space for a nod to an Exertis initiative of which Maria Grazia Ragazzini is particularly proud: the Exertis Days. “This year we will grow further”, she confided to us, “and this will become a fixed appointment, a kind of… our little local ISE! Three days of event, with vendors and our suppliers, and with the idea of creating a collaboration between customers and suppliers. As distributors, one of our tasks is to make these two realities talk, to bring them into contact and, if possible, to learn as much from one as from the other!”
