The importance of having a very large and rich portfolio of brands and products is all apparent when faced with the need to design articulated systems. Here are two solutions designed for video conferencing or LEDwall-based control or meeting rooms.
EET means: A/V solutions of all types and for all needs, and without having to resort to a “patchwork” of brands and suppliers, but rather being able to rely on a single supplier, on a single “galaxy” within which one can find everything one needs, with in addition a certain freedom of choice between models and products. Let us therefore present, in order to better clarify the concept, two examples of possible configurations-among the many that could be imagined-dedicated to two different applications, both in high demand at this particular moment in history.
In-room videoconferencing systems
Increasingly popular in companies of all sizes, in part to meet the growing need for hybrid work, VCF systems require a “core” represented by a content-sharing platform around which an ecosystem of varying magnitude unravels, which in any case cannot do without monitors and cabling.
The EET proposal for small and medium-sized rooms, i.e., most spaces dedicated to video conferencing in companies, is the Airtame Hub data sharing system together with Vivolink Bundle VLCAM230, based on the VLCAM230 professional PTZ camera designed for live streaming from meetings, conferences or live events. The system is compatible with a host of applications including Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts, FaceTime, Cisco Webex and Vidyo. Controllable via LAN interface, via RS232 or with a supplied remote control, the camera offers 24x zoom (12x optical and 12x digital) and smooth pan and tilt movements, which are very suitable for professional environments. Ideally, the system could be complemented by monitors from Sony, NEC and Iiyama brands or, if desired, IIyama interactive touch monitors.
For cabling and possible monitor brackets, the brand of choice again is Vivolink, among the flagships of the EET world, which can also cover the needs of extending A/V signals with TX/RX and USB-C matrices or extenders, for example with the VLUSBCEX151 kit and related PROUSBC cables. Icing on the cake are Bachmann’s stylish desktop multi-sockets.
Videowall/LEDwall systems and control rooms
Other applications that are in vogue, realizable thanks to the extensive EET catalog, are control rooms is the “Coated” environments of video installations or LEDwalls, for which the brand of reference is NEC (many proposals as much for size as for pixel pitch and definition, depending on the needs). As for brackets for professional Videowalls and LEDwalls, EET proposes the Global Mounts Group brand (B-Tech/Neomounts). Cabling always by Vivolink, while for complex Videowall management systems the ideal is Matrox, with its D-Series, graphics cards designed specifically to handle next-generation video walls, each capable of handling up to four 4Kp60 displays, and with Mura Extio 3, secure, high-performance IP KVM extenders that support 4Kp60 or quad view 1080p60 video.
In short, the customer can simply define his or her needs: for everything else, the integrator or system designer can turn to the EET catalog, choose, order, and … the system is done!
