Ansaldo STS has inaugurated a new representative office in Rome, equipped with a meeting room built around Audio-Technica’s ATUC-50 digital system
Ansaldo STS, a well-known Italian company for design, construction and management of railway and metropolitan signaling and supervision systems, has inaugurated in Rome a new, functional and prestigious representative office, equipped with a meeting room mainly utilized for the meetings of the Board of Directors. The installation was carried out by the CP Centro Pilota company in Rome, which has the necessary know-how for the construction and management of video conferencing rooms. The challenge was to create a meeting room suitable for bilingual conference calls with the transmission of two channels in simultaneous translation into the cloud, with a third in the original language (floor), as well as in-house meetings at the highest technological level.
CP Centro Pilota therefore focused on Audio-Technica’s ATUC-50, distributed in Italy by Sisme: it’s a digital system for conferences including channels for listening to simultaneous translation and whose discussion units can be configured with the outgoing audio for up to four groups. The “Web Remote Control” function allows you to build an integrated multi-platform through which you can manage meetings directly from your computer or tablet. Three modes of selectable operations and programmable LED indicators make it possible to structure meetings and avoid communication problems, while offering echo cancellation and high speech intelligibility. An analog/digital mixer for the cross-management of the different linguistic flows and the choice of three digital hybrids with integrated echo canceller are the most important elements of the installation. The system also includes two modern H323 video conferencing devices already owned by the customer.
ATUC-50 is a fully digital and modular system that allows you to connect together, cascaded or ring, up to a 150 units, with web control and the possibility of making four-track recordings. The connection via CAT5 cable and the availability of two gooseneck microphones, of different lengths, make ATUC-50 a flexible system suitable for many different applications, both small, medium-sized and large.
