There is the work of Bose Professional in the audio system of Telegrafen Oslo, a composite Norwegian local in which a restaurant coexists with spaces dedicated to meeting and discussion as well as leisure and free time.
Located in the heart of one of the fastest growing European cities, with its 25.000 square meters of extension, Telegrafen Oslo offers a varied experience within a monumental Scandinavian Baroque-Art Nouveau building. Visitors can enjoy the many activities that this unique venue offers, from the exclusive restaurant to the various meeting spaces, thus easily passing from work to leisure. To act as a “trait d’union” between all the environments and the possible activities that take place there, a well-finished audio system, which ensures, thanks to Bose Professional, an integrated audio experience for guests, from collaboration in the conference room to evening events.
Steffen Johansen, project manager of systems integrator Bravo, who was responsible for the construction of the system, explains: “We needed a partner who could guarantee excellent quality sound in large and flexible spaces, in larger educational facilities, restaurants and bars – in other words, we needed distinct solutions to suit everything from experiential sound for entertainment to crisp sound for a conference. Bose was the ideal choice.”
The solution adopted includes fourteen different products that cover different roles within the building, for a unitary and elegant audio experience. Ranging from Bose DesignMax ceiling speakers to Panaray MA12 modular column array speakers, PowerSpace and PowerMatch amplifiers, all complemented by the Bose Videobar VB1 USB all-in-one conferencing device.
But why such a wide variety of speakers? Simple: to offer a superior audio experience while respecting and even exploiting and enhancing the different styles of the building, which is characterized by very different wide spaces and all equally functional. Finally, the Bose Videobar VB1 in the conference room provides transparent conferencing technology that maximizes productivity and ease of use for guests.
“What is truly extraordinary about this project” – is the comment of Jørn Akerhaugen, owner of the building – “is the variety of Bose components used in the various spaces. The Telegrafen offers an exciting experience for the eyes and ears, thanks to Bose innovations and audio quality. The restaurant experience, unique in itself, changes as you move around the space, from meeting rooms to other meeting areas, offering an overall incredible and engaging experience.”
