Integrated technologies can play a key role in alleviating or even resolving difficulties associated with disabilities, including cognitive ones. Through innovation and the development of technological solutions, we can foster a more inclusive, welcoming, and functional environment. This topic will be addressed at Didacta, thanks to the contribution of Audiosales.
Among the various forms of disabilities, hearing impairment is often neglected: it can be challenging to identify and treat, yet effective listening plays a crucial role in perception, learning, accessibility to services and culture, and in the individual’s overall social engagement. Those topics will be central in the presentation Designing Inclusive Learning Environments, Taking into Account Diversity and Disabilities, supported by Audiosales. The presentation will take place at Didacta on March 21st at 11 a.m. in Seminar Room S4 of Palazzina Lorenese, as part of the event’s scientific program.
The speakers will include Architect Giovanni Del Zanna, a lecturer and expert in designing and implementing technologies for disabilities and Extended Users, and Donato Masci, an acoustic designer and consultant. The session will conclude with an engaging case study on the implementation of a Hearing Loop system by Contacta for the State Institute for the Deaf in Rome.
The presentationwill provide a valuable opportunity to discuss and share ideas on enhancing accessibility and inclusion through audio and technology. Collaboration between industry, technology, and organizations dedicated to inclusion can drive significant progress toward these shared objectives.
Audiosales will also have a presence at Didacta within the SmartBuilding.edu project (Spadolini Pavilion, ground floor, booth J11), focusing on innovation in school architecture and education.
