Two “portable events” will travel to 17 European countries to create connected experiences by making them accessible to all.
Sony announces the introduction of two mobile demonstration units that will tour more than 60 locations in 17 European countries to showcase technologies from Sony’s Professional Displays and Solutions division. The tour aims to bring Sony closer to its customers and offer visitors a more personalized and hands-on experience. In Italy, the tour will take place in April at the following locations: Faenza 17/4, Rome 19/4 and Milan 21/4.
The two units traveling through Europe this spring will include demonstrations of the growing range of BRAVIA 4K Professional Displays. During the roadshow, Sony’s award-winning workspace management solution TEOS will control the installed devices and enable remote management. The displays will showcase BRAVIA supervisors as presented at ISE, as well as solutions for wayfinding, Corporate, Education and Digital Signage. In addition, visitors will be able to see a live demonstration of the new SRG-A40 pan/tilt/zoom camera with automatic tracking using AI (Artificial Intelligence).
This new and unique approach to presenting Sony products will reduce the amount of equipment and people that need to travel for small 1:1 events and demonstrations in Europe, as visitors and Sony experts will be able to stay on-site, thus avoiding the need for excessive travel. In addition, the tour will include country-specific channel events and both vehicles will be equipped with mounting structures donated by Peerless and a Logitech Rally Bar.
“We are excited to bring hands-on professional demonstrations directly into the heart of accredited partner facilities, providing all members of the company with the opportunity to see and experience technologies first-hand, along with a preview of the future of Sony Professional Displays and Solutions products. Although these 65 m2 satellite offices will not be able to reach everyone, we hope that, together with the other local events we organize as part of the tour, they will enable us to connect and engage as many partners and end users as possible. In this way we show that Sony is ready to go the extra mile to meet the needs of its customers.” Comments Rik Willemse, Head of Sales, Sony Professional Displays & Solutions Europe.
The tour will run for 10 weeks from March 27 to June 2, and the full list of locations can be found at this address pro.sony/roadshow.
