At ISE 2023, ATEN presented a booth full of new solutions for many applications, from meeting rooms to data centers, from control rooms to digital signage, not to mention workstations
ATEN’s ISE (tenth participation for the brand) was held under the banner of integration and innovative AV and IT solutions, with a focus on the workspaces of the future.
Several new products were unveiled during the show, starting with the new VP2021 presentation switch, which integrates matrix video, AV streaming, audio mixing and collaboration functions into one compact device with one HDMI input, two HDMI outputs and four bidirectional streaming channels. An ideal product for enhancing BYOD collaboration in meeting rooms, VP2021 allows participants to join meetings wirelessly from laptops and smartphones, sharing content from the web UI or ATEN control app on any Apple or Android mobile device.
Another interesting new product, dedicated to data centers, is the new PG98330 three-phase PDU: sustainable energy efficiency involving improvements in both hardware and software. PG98330 is a product that addresses the growing demand for power for high-density IT equipment in server rooms and data centers. Each PG98330 PDU has thirty outlets capable of operating at higher voltages, and powers all connected equipment in less than ten seconds, thanks to the efficiency of three-phase power supply. Another plus is the very small footprint, which is always useful in rooms already full of technology equipment.
Finally, also unveiled is the brand new CM1942 mini matrix KVM switch, which focuses on ergonomics to improve workstation productivity. It is basically a mini matrix that offers boundless and flexible KVM switching between two computers/screens to increase workstation efficiency. With fast peripheral data sharing, audio mixer, multiscreen, and agile hotdesking, the new CM1942 simplifies workflows for both desktop and collaborative work.
Ines Kefel, Senior Marketing Manager at ATEN, whom we met in Barcelona at the company’s booth, told us:
The fair went very well, we had many categories of visitors, all of whom were particularly interested in meeting room solutions. Finally the location, after the pandemic, was able to unfold its full potential and it was perfect for us. Among the visitors, many system integrators, but also end users, interested in big brands. If in the past we focused mainly on topics such as computers and networking, now the new generations are aiming at IoT, with a different approach to technology, thanks in part to developments in AI. Contemporary generations want easy and intuitive interconnection, anywhere and if possible without cables or with a small footprint, on shared platforms (Microsoft, Google). Our products go precisely in this direction, and have been very well received by customers and visitors.
