After the interesting hybrid edition of last year, the return to ISE in attendance represented the best opportunity for Samsung to launch its new displays and various other innovations, of which we offer a quick review.
Samsung’s participation in ISE 2022 has a specific title: “Reimagining Business for the Hybrid World.” The company’s stand, in fact, focused on the concept of “Business Reimagined”, starting from the awareness that companies are undergoing drastic changes in operating methods. Samsung has shown how its diverse range of commercial display technologies can help improve the customer and employee experience, whether in person, remotely or hybrid.
So what could we see at Samsung’s stand at ISE 2022? First of all, its most cutting-edge display technology, The Wall, which offers various more options for companies wishing to transform their spaces by making them more engaging, flexible and immersive. Furthermore, the new The Wall All-in-One (IAB) was presented, which offers an installation set that allows companies to save time and resources.
Very interesting, more oriented to the Educational world, also the new Samsung Flip Pro (WMB), an intuitive whiteboard that improves the learning experience thanks to collaborative features including Smart View+, which allows teachers to transmit the screens of students’ devices to the display, regardless of the operating system used. In addition, the Samsung Flip Pro’s advanced touchscreen supports brush mode, allowing for very realistic and immediate experiences of both drawing and painting. For recognition of its innovative design and capabilities, The Flip Pro was recognized as the best interactive whiteboard at this year’s TNT Awards.
With regard to digital signage solutions, including Smart Signage 2022, the clear improvement in terms of energy efficiency and sustainability should be highlighted, with certified products that meet the new industry standards, as part of its vision “Together for tomorrow.” By increasing the use of recycled materials and improving energy consumption in its 2022 range of Smart Signage, including QMB and QBB, Samsung is making a real contribution to greater environmental sustainability, which also includes new packaging environmentally friendly with recycled materials for all Digital Signage products.
Also to improve the efficiency of products by reducing consumption, Samsung has decided to use a SoC (System on Chip) solution which, applied to monitors and signage, allows you to view content without additional devices, saving waste and energy. In recognition of these efforts, Samsung has earned an ENERGY STAR certification as well as an Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) certification for energy efficiency improvements and the use of recycled plastics in its 2022 Smart Signage range.
“We are committed to ensuring day-to-day sustainability across our digital signage portfolio and playing an important role in reimagining a better planet”, said Hyesung Ha, executive vice president of Visual Display Business at Samsung. “We are grateful for the recognition of our efforts, and aim to collectively change manufacturing practices for a sustainable future.”
