The new Premium Business Music Solutions line from QSC, distributed by Exhibo in Italy, premieres in Las Vegas, at InfoComm 2018.
A complete professional audio solution composed of mixers, amplifiers, loudspeakers and subwoofers, designed for playing music and multi-zone paging in hotels, restaurants, conference halls, commercial areas, museums and other public spaces. The brand new technological offering from QSC, currently a main player at InfoComm 2018, is the fruit of strategic investments aimed at providing “master key” products for several installation categories, with a design that is easily adaptable to any architectural style and type of décor, uniting a reduced aesthetic impact with the high performance normally required of audio solutions in specific professional contexts.
The Premium Business Music Solutions line offers products that are easy to install, configure and manage, remotely controlled via mobile device apps, which allow paging in various zones directly from the smartphone or tablet’s microphone, or designated controllers which are installed onto the wall.
All that remains is to discover the technological features of QSC’s complete solution in the MP-M mixer Series, MP-A amplifiers and in the line of Acoustic Design speakers and subwoofers.
MP-M Mixer Series
The QSC MP-M mixers are fixed-architecture DSP processors intended for professional applications, with a minimum encumbrance of a single rack unit. They integrate a series of interesting features, including maximum equalization of QSC loudspeakers and the possibility for users to create personalized presets. Furthermore, they can be controlled via Android or iOS apps, which allow for managing sources, paging, managing volume and calling particular areas. Controlling the mixers is also possible through dedicated controllers — each mixer can manage up to eight of them – that can be installed on walls. The MP-M series presents two models, the MP-M40 and the MP-M80, at 4 and 8 channels, respectively, which differ by number of microphone inputs, line and outputs.
MP-A Amplifiers
These powerful amplifiers offer good sound flexibility and an optimal compromise between efficiency and consumption. The FlexAmp technology provides each pair of channels a combined output of up to 400 W. The MP-A 20V models have two channels, for a total output per channel of about 200 W, while the MP-A40V and MP-A80V versions respectively offer 4 and 8 channels.
Acoustic Design (AD) Loudspeakers
The family of speakers guarantees high acoustic performance united with a decidedly reduced form factor. Even at low volumes, the Sub / Sat speakers of the AD series offer a highly respectable sound for the environment that hosts the system. The speakers are available, with black or white finish, in the AD-P.SUB and AD-P.SAT suspension versions, AD-C.SUB and AD-C.SAT for ceiling mounting and AD-S.SUB and AD-S.SAT for surface mounting.
