Q-SYS control plug-ins allow you to emulate the experience of the “Sennheiser Control Cockpit” software on a Q-SYS touch screen controller, without having to operate the programme, allowing you to understand room controls and the microphone on a single touch panel.
In recent months, with the series of “Just Follow Me” webinars (available online), the synergy between QSC and Sennheiser, two of the most important brands distributed in Italy by Exhibo, has been amply illustrated. The purpose of the collaboration is to integrate – in the name of Q-SYS – the control of the tracking of the cameras in the meeting rooms with the Sennheiser ceiling microphone.
“Just Follow Me” includes Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 as a microphone solution and facilitates the integration between the products of the two brands for the creation of training rooms, executive meeting rooms and meeting spaces of all kinds, characterised by state-of-the-art room automation applied to the most popular collaboration platforms, also including certified products for Microsoft Teams. TeamConnect Ceiling 2 is a ceiling microphone array with automatic speaker position detection, based on beamforming technology that offers the best speech intelligibility. Analogue and digital (Dante) audio outputs provide easy connectivity to various video and audio conferencing systems. System configuration and monitoring is done via Sennheiser’s exclusive Control Cockpit software, which also allows for seamless remote maintenance.

Furthermore, the combination of Q-SYS and Team Connect Ceiling 2 allows you to create a perfect synergy between the PTZ camera of the Q-SYS ecosystem and the Sennheiser microphone, with the possibility to recall the camera position presets based on the position in the room thanks to Sennheiser’s adaptive technology (dynamic beamforming.) To summarise, the QSC-Sennheiser collaboration ensures that all participants in a meeting are always filmed by the camera while they are talking, and can enjoy high quality audio, regardless of where they are in the room and even if they are connected remotely.
The characteristics of the system also guarantee safe meeting rooms, maintaining the distances required by anti-contagion regulations. Having greater automation, in fact, means less interaction with the Touch Screens or any microphone at the table, therefore providing a huge reduction in risk.
