The event saw the participation of Powersoft with Mezzo, a new “universal” amplifier.
Designed to be the ideal amplifier for any integrator who wishes to take full advantage of Powersoft technologies, Mezzo is an amplification platform dedicated to installation, and offers auto-configuration and multiple routing options, including Dante, on selected models. Thanks to its small footprint, Mezzo can be mounted in multiple configurations and the discreet design allows it, if necessary, to conceal itself in environments where architects or designers do not want to focus on it. Among the advantages of Mezzo, the clarity of the sound, a remarkable reliability and the well-known Powersoft build quality, all in 1/2 rack unit. The product is available in two sizes, from two or four channels, with state-of-the-art DSP.
All models offer multiple analog input options, and the 2 channel versions feature line level outputs.
AD versions of Mezzo add audio networking capabilities with DanteTM/AES67 and an internal Gigabit Ethernet switch and a second port so that multiple products can share the same network cable.
The smaller versions of Mezzo are sealed designs, therefore approved for hidden placement, such as mounted above the ceiling or tucked in a wall box. At CEDIA Expo 2019, the Powersoft team illustrated the features of Mezzo also through customized demos. Undoubtedly, this new amplifier represented one of the most interesting innovations of the event.
