With a special event held in Milan on June 20 in the beautiful location of the Santeria club, in viale Toscana, Bose Professional launched the new PowerShareX amplifier models and the new S1 Pro+ wireless PA system
The “Bose Professional style” can also be seen in these things: an elegant launch, in a beautiful location where it was possible to deploy all the power of the new products for the benefit of the public, and the possibility of directly speaking with technicians and engineers to discover the characteristics of the new PowerShareX family, four-channel adaptive power amplifiers available in three models (PSX1204D, PSX2404D and PSX4804D) which differ only in power, from 1200 to 2400 and 4800 watts. They are intelligent four channels amplifiers designed for use with Bose Professional installation audio systems. The integrated DSP offers instant access to speaker presets via the well-known ControlSpace Designer software, simplifying the integration of the overall ecosystem including Bose Professional processors, speakers and controllers.
Capable of handling low impedance (2, 4, 8Ω) or high impedance (70, 100V) speaker loads, the new PowerShareX also offer integrated Dante audio with support for up to four digital input channels from a Dante network and four analog inputs, all in a slim 1RU design.
Finally, a dedicated downloadable PowerShare design tool allows designers and integrators to choose the amplifier based on a simulation of the power sharing capability which, in some cases, can lead to a lower power model requirement with savings on costs.
The other big news introduced by Bose Professional on June 20 is the new S1 Pro+ all-in-one wireless PA system, very versatile and powerful, equipped with an integrated three-channel mixer, OLED control display, two Combo XLR/Jack 6.3 inputs mm and one Jack trs 6,3 or jack 3.5. Both mains and battery powered (with a declared autonomy of about twelve hours), tiltable in four different positions, the S1 Pro+ is equipped with an integrated 2.4 GHz Bluetooth receiver, USB reader and weighs only 6,5 kg. Designed especially for musicians, DJ and general PA applications, S1 Pro+ is suitable for different environments, both indoors and outdoors, and is enhanced by the optional wireless microphone and transmitters for musical instruments which, although sold separately, increase the usage options and versatility of this new, compact portable speaker.
