The Pixera brand, “arm” of the large Austrian company AV Stumpfl as regards Media Servers, took part in ISE 2023 presenting all its product lines and the great news Four RS and the 2.0 software version
At the Pixera stand at ISE 2023 we were able to talk to Luca Murer, CEO & Pixera Certified Trainer at Omnio who illustrated the main innovations and the strengths shown off by the company in this edition of the fair: “More than on the innovations” – he began – “I would like to emphasize the fact that we have brought various product lines, for example the Mini model, to show the public all the potential of our supply chain. Four is our top-of-the-range machine, winner of the Innovate Award, and the real novelty is the new model designed for the rental market, a special all-in-one version, called Pixera Four RS, already introduced last year, but presented again as a winning idea: it is in fact a machine configured with everything a rental company could need.”
And at the software level, however, what would the emphasis be on? “Pixera’s big news,” replied Luca Murer, “is the new version 2.0, which introduces multi-user, the ability to backup in N+1 mode, and other integrations designed to facilitate virtual production and for timeline and content management. It also natively integrates all tracking systems. This version will be available starting in the second quarter of 2023.”
We asked Luca to tell us, in brief, what characterizes the Pixera brand, what in short makes it unique and recognizable. His answer was very crisp: “What really characterizes us,” he said, “is the ease of use of the user interface. Pixera has an extremely intuitive system that is easy to learn. The software offers so much potential and so many options, even starting from a basic level; anyone can approach the software and gradually learn the various features. In addition, there are always two versions of Pixera products: hardware and software, what we call dongle versions. Of course, the hardware version allows in my opinion to cover a range of applications that no other manufacturer at this time can boast.”
Finally, a nod to the possible applications of Pixera Media Servers, in both hardware and software versions, cannot be missed: “They are very varied applications: airports, museums… Our system allows you to manage everything, image, strain, content, and so on. The user has all the control he needs, of the projectors, LEDs, monitors, audio players, and all these devices can be mixed. All the parameters are scalable.”
And – very last question! – how did ISE 2023 go for Pixera and AV Stumpfl?
“I noticed a lot of interest, many visitors, and very good feedback,” Luca Murer told us. “Stumpfl, for its part, presented here a preview of the new ANYSHAPE screen, based on the concept of modularity, able to take any shape and be covered with any fabric. It is not the classic custom screen, it goes far beyond that!”
In short, between Stumpfl and Pixera, a more than sparkling ISE!
