Panasonic’s new 20.000 lumen PT-RZ21K laser projector will be part of the technical equipment of the first edition of the “World Masters of Projection Mapping” competition to be held at ISE 2018.
From 14 January to 9 February 2018, the “World Masters of Projection Mapping” event will be held in Amsterdam, organized in collaboration between the Amsterdam Light Festival, the ISE and RAI Amsterdam: on the EYE Filmmuseum façade, five artists will exhibit in videomapping their work focused on the theme “Bridging the Gap”. Each artist will also have to face an extreme challenge: projecting his works on two water screens of 40×15 meters in diameter. The projection on the water will add to the event an interesting dynamic and theatrical element, creating a three-dimensional and double-level stage.
Panasonic is one of ISE’s platinum sponsors and will provide all the projection equipment required for the event, in particular the projectotrs of professional range PT-RZ21K (20.000 lumens) and PT-RZ31K (30.000 lumens). Both specifically designed for live entertainment and staging applications, guarantee 20.000 hours of operation without requiring maintenance. Equipped with a dual 3-chip DLP laser light source, these projectors offer built-in redundancy and ensure continuous, uninterrupted projection, ideal for large live shows, even in case of a diode failure.
The “highlight” of the competition will take place on February 8th 2018, when the judges will have to decree the final winner, who will then be officially announced on February 9th, on the final day of ISE 2018.
