The SOLID Shine PT-MZ20 series of LCD projectors is ideal for use in corporate and hybrid meetings, and classrooms, and for creating immersive experiences in museums
Panasonic has expanded its range of Solid Shine LCD projectors with the addition of the PT-MZ20 series, with three new models joining the PT-MZ20K unveiled in early 2022: the world’s most compact, lightest and quietest[1] 20,000 lm LCD projector. Models in the new series include PT-MZ17 (16,500 lm), PT-MZ14 (14,000 llm) and PT-MZ11 (11,000 lm).
Ideal for use in corporate settings, hybrid environments, classrooms, and for creating immersive experiences in museums, the new range ensures impressive image quality, reliability, and quick and easy set-up, all with a focus on budget considerations. With a compact and manageable 22.3 kg chassis and quiet mode operation (36 dB), the projectors easily adapt to the usage environment.
Setting new benchmarks for high brightness and natural color quality, the PT-MZ20 series has an optimized optical engine with new 1-inch LCD panels. The pure white generator harnesses extra light to improve color accuracy for vivid and engaging presentations. The series also includes automatic focus adjustment (AFO) for any change in temperature and brightness of the lens and accepts 4K/60p input signal for easy integration into any environment.
Easy to install, the series includes NFC functionality, which supports IP configuration without AC power; Smart Projector Control app with autofocus via smartphone camera; pre-activated Geometry Manager Pro upgrade kits; and an Information Monitor to display status and key parameters in standby.
Compatible with a wide range of optional Panasonic lenses, such as the ET-EMU100 Ultra-Short-Throw Zoom zero off-set lens, the PT-MZ20K can also be used for bright and brilliant projections even in confined spaces without the presence of shadows, making it ideal for immersive experiences in museums and entertainment environments.
Panasonic’s multi-laser drive engine and unique sealed liquid and phosphor cooling systems offer high reliability. The eco-friendly reusable air filter and laser light source are maintenance-free for up to 20,000 hours of operation. Failover circuits prevent loss of brightness due to a laser diode failure, while the backup input allows two redundant sources to work together to immediately activate the secondary input in the event of a problem with the main video source,to provide peace of mind in mission-critical situations.
The new series will be available from January 2023: PT-MZ17 (16,500lm), PT-MZ14 (14,000lm) and PT-MZ11 (11,000lm); while the PT-MZ20K projector will be available from April 2023.
