Helvia, the brand owned by Frenexport, presented the new OMNIS-100, a particularly flexible and all-in-one multimedia player at ISE 2023
Great variety of supported formats and sources and flexibility in connection with the outside world: these are the main features of OMNIS-100, the new All-in-One multimedia player from Helvia, designed to satisfy any need in terms of audio reproduction, all in a 43 cm wide by 6,8 cm high module, which can be used stand-alone for a Hi-FI system or inserted in a rack cabinet. OMNIS-100 offers all technologies for remote connection via wireless network and bluetooth as well as physical connections via USB, LAN, RCA, optical and coaxial audio. That’s why this player can be used for audio signals from various streaming sources such as Web Radio or Spotify or, thanks to the “BT Audio Streaming” function, by connecting it directly to smartphones, tablets and laptops. To complete the product equipment, also a DAB/DAB+/FM tuner with RDS function for additional information on radio stations.
In terms of control and management, OMNIS-100 offers a very simple and practical front panel, typical of Helvia products, with USB port, ON/OFF button, central 2,4” color TFT display, four setup buttons and a encoder for menu navigation. The rear panel, on the other hand, offers all the connections with quality connectors that are resistant even to intensive use.
The cabinet is very elegant and does not sacrifice design. Finally, the Wi-Fi antenna (included) or LAN connection allows streaming audio playback in large rooms and remote control via smartphone or tablet using the UNDOK Android/iOS app. The unit can also be controlled remotely with the supplied remote control.
In terms of applications, OMNIS-100 is ideal for any professional type system for commercial activities such as hotels, resorts, pub bars, etc.
