The first cinema to equip all its theaters with LG Miraclass is the Odeon in Madrid: six new screens with LED technology which herald what could be a real revolution
LG and the Cinema Odeon in Madrid kick off a possible revolution in the cinema industry, with six new screens based on Miraclass LED technology.
Available in two models (LDAA025-1 and LDAA012), this LED screen is compatible with Dolby’s IMS3000 (Integrated Media Server) system and is capable of reproducing 68.7 billion color variations with 24-bit processing for images without distortion and extremely precise and qualitative, as it should be for a cinematographic show.
Designed for both the playback of 2D/3D films and high-level corporate content, this LG LED screen is suitable for different applications, but has found one of the most spectacular, and certainly the most innovative, in the Odeon cinema in Madrid. We know that cinema is a particular world: on the one hand it is very conservative, attached to its own traditions; on the other hand, he is extremely receptive to technological innovations, and it couldn’t be otherwise, given that the evolution of cinema has always passed through its technological growth.
This project therefore represents a significant change in the cinematic world. The Odeon in Madrid is the first cinema to use 100% LED combined with the Dolby Atmos sound system. LG Miraclass is an innovative solution capable of giving life to films, improving the viewing experience and offering high quality images and sounds.
Not surprisingly, Luis Millan, CEO of the Odeon cinema, stated bluntly that “LG Miraclass has allowed us to create one of the most technologically advanced cinemas in the world.”
