Yamaha continues the development of its conference systems: the new ADECIA Wireless Solution represents a significant step forward towards increasingly effective and performing corporate conferences.
Based on the new wireless microphones of the RM-W series, ADECIA Wireless Solution offers the possibility to easily create flexible and easy to set up conferences for all professional environments. The RM-W series introduces four new wireless microphones: two perimeter models (omnidirectional RM-WOM and cardioid RM-WDR) and two gooseneck versions (12” RM-WGL and 6” RM-WGS). The microphones work with the RM-WAP-8 eight-channel wireless access point, which features Dante control and PoE power, reducing the need of cabling.
The ADECIA wireless solution uses the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) standard and the frequency band of 1.9 GHz, which results in a decrease in the risk of band conflict, making the communication more stable and intelligible. Used with Yamaha’s current professional conference products (including the RM-CR conference processor, VXL 1-16P speaker line arrays, and SWR2311-10G network switch), the new ADECIA Wireless allows you to quickly and easily set up high quality communication in a wide range of environments, from meeting rooms and classrooms to conference rooms.
Furthermore, thanks to the advanced digital signal processing (DSP), the echo cancellation and the dereverberation function, the system is able to maintain a high quality of the voice, guaranteeing the clear transmission of every word, a fundamental detail for effective videoconferencing. Another major benefit of Yamaha’s new ADECIA Wireless is ease of setup. The Web UI Setup Wizard allows for easy pairing of microphones, audio routing and management of other systems. No specific audio or programming knowledge is required.
All RM-W series wireless microphones offer approximately 20 hours of continuous operation from full battery charge. The RM-WCH-8 Microphone Charging Station can charge up to eight microphones simultaneously. ADECIA Wireless Solution products will be available from July 2022 through Yamaha system integrators and official distributors.
