To manage audio in applications such as theaters, amusement parks, museums or concerts there is Fohhn Gallery, a complete system that includes speakers and a multi-channel processor with intuitive software
With Fohhn Gallery you can create immersive worlds and spatial sound experiences: in other words, it is a complete solution for immersive audio applications, based on a new multi-channel processor with intuitive software. Multi-channel audio can enrich the visitor or user experience, thanks to high-resolution audio contributions and the use of motion trackers, speakers with surround channels up to a real-time mono downmix for ceiling speakers.
Ideal for museums and exhibitions, Fohhn Gallery allows you to reproduce natural spaces, create virtual worlds and, above all, play with the perception of the visitor, even in applications such as simulators and rides. Auditory perception, in fact, is three-dimensional. To simulate an experience in the most realistic way possible, immersive audio is needed.
Even in live music, well-structured audio allows the audience to be immersed in the sound of the concert, taking advantage of formats that go beyond stereo and open up completely new musical possibilities for artists and sound engineers. Cleverly placed speakers that surround the listening area involve the audience more in the performance.
The Fohhn Gallery Processor is the control center for any speaker setup and for managing complex signals. The software is included with the device and can be used without the need for a separate computer. The main features of the processor and software are:
– Two versions available: GP-64 with 64 inputs and outputs and GP-128 with double the number of inputs and outputs
– Intuitive spatial control, positioning and movement of audio objects and live inputs
– Grouping and management of speaker zones
– Multi-format immersive player Cue Media
– Any output format available: 5.1, Dolby Atmos – 7.1.2, MPEG-H – 7.1+4, IMAX 3D – 12.0, but also 64-speaker fulldome environments
– Binaural processing in headphones
– Easy connectivity with Fohhn amplifiers via Dante
– Additional interfaces (integrated): AVB (Milan), MADI, AES67
– Support for OSC and EMBER+ remote protocols
– Touchscreen support
Fohhn is a brand with a long history in immersive audio, having developed the Sonic Emotion speakers for wave field synthesis many years ago. Subsequent collaborations with Encircled Audio, Yamaha and Dolby Atmos Studios have further refined the company’s expertise, which also works with Müller BBM and New Audio Technology.
