EET Group invests in the future and announces new distribution centre and headquarters
EET is proud to announce important news that marks a significant milestone in the company’s history. As a testament to its extraordinary growth, EET is pleased to announce that the company is investing in a state-of-the-art warehouse and a new Group headquarters
As of April 2024, a new distribution centre in Greve, Denmark, is ready to provide the right support and service to the company’s customers. The new location represents a significant upgrade and underlines EET’s commitment to providing first-class customer service and optimal working conditions for employees.
The new facility will triple EET’s logistics capacity with a 176,000 m3 warehouse and focus on automation. It will house an expanded Autostore and automated packing machines, ensuring fast order processing, accurate inventory management and will contribute to EET’s sustainability efforts, as transport volumes will also be reduced. In order to guarantee a significant and up-to-date stock for its customers, the company is also investing in more expensive but safer transport by air: due to the crisis in the Middle East, shipments by ship are often at risk, delayed or even blocked.
Finally, the new warehouse is an example of good eco-friendly practices, such as energy-efficient lighting and waste reduction initiatives.

Efficiency and well-being
The Greve distribution centre places a strong emphasis on efficiency and employee well-being: thanks to the implementation of advanced machinery and automation, heavy lifting and strenuous activities will be significantly reduced, contributing to a safer and more comfortable working environment.
“As a distributor, EET warehouses are the heart of our business and an integral part of the way we operate. We have worked hard to find the perfect location to realise our ambitions. The distribution centre in Greve has been meticulously designed to combine space and productivity, to achieve greater efficiency and to enable us to provide tailor-made storage and distribution solutions, meeting the diverse needs of our customers and suppliers,” said Bjarke Roost, EET Group Logistics Manager

Amalgamation of locations
In addition to the opening of the distribution centre in Greve, EET is looking forward to another exciting event in spring 2024. All Group functions and employees from the two locations will be united in one new and improved location in Birkerød, to facilitate collaboration between teams, speed up decision-making and increase the sense of community. The new premises will be set up in line with EET’s corporate brand values, and employees will enjoy more collaborative spaces and a stimulating work environment that will foster well-being and creativity.
“I am incredibly proud that, thanks to EET’s steadily growing workforce and a history of successful acquisitions, we are now ready to embark on a new adventure, thanks in part to our new warehouse and headquarters,” said Søren Drewsen, CEO of the EET Group “This move embodies our commitment to excellence and innovation, positioning EET for a successful future. I am excited to personally experience first-class logistics services for our customers and suppliers, as well as improved well-being and satisfaction for our employees. EET is ready for tomorrow’.
