The QSC brand, distributed in Italy by Exhibo, has introduced a new processor in the Q-SYS ecosystem: the NV-32-H Core Capable model adds a multifunctional audio-video endpoint to the Q-SYS Core DSP portfolio.
The newcomer in the Q-SYS family is called NV-32-H Core Capable and is a multifunctional and software configurable audio-video endpoint. The new product fully fits into the Q-SYS ecosystem: userS can count on performance and results in line with those expected from a DSP processor equipped with all the options, the power and functionality of this platform.
The NV-32-H Core Capable offers two distinct operating modes, based on application needs. “Core Mode” transforms the device into a fully integrated Q-SYS processor with local HDMI switching capabilities. “Peripheral Mode” allows multi-stream video encoding or decoding for network-based HDMI video distribution. In particular, the “Core Mode” enables an on-board 3 x 2 HDMI video switcher/scaler seamless, allowing users to easily share presentation or video content from their laptops or other in-room HDMI sources.
Among the main features of the new NV-32-H Core Capable, we note first of all the integrated HDMI switcher, which eliminates the need to support an external video switcher. Furthermore, the BYOD functionality is expressed through USB connectivity without the need for audio and Q-SYS cameras drivers. The aim is to make UC&C (Unified Communication & Collaboration) integration as simple as possible. Finally, the economic aspect: a significant reduction in costs and space. In fact, a NV-32-H Core Capable model occupies only one rack unit, half width, which allows professionals to get the best AV functionalities while simplifying installation.
The new solution, in short, is the ideal choice for in-room collaboration systems, with integrated video switcher. The Q-SYS platform offers solutions of all types and for all needs, and has recently also seen the introduction of the new Core 8 Flex, with onboard flex audio inputs, GPIO and network audio, and Core Nano, with I/O on audio networks: small-sized solutions that add installation and design options even for systems in small or medium-sized environments.
