After the innovative Milanese edition of October 2023, the MicroSalon Italia returns to Rome, with an equally innovative spring edition: from 17 to 19 May 2024 at the Leonardo Da Vinci Studios in Fiumicino
Although it goes a little outside our reference sector, we would still like to point out to our readers about the MicroSalon Italia, an important national event regarding technologies dedicated to digital cinema, broadcast and professional lighting. Organized and supported by AIC, the historic Italian Association of Cinematographers, the event is unique in its kind and is always accompanied by an interesting panel of conferences held by directors, directors of photography and, more generally, builders and developers of cutting-edge products, from cameras to lighting fixtures, from stands to optics. The brands present, from Arri to RED Digital Cinema, from Sony to Canon, from Cooke Optics to Angenieux, passing through Cartoni, Aputure, Nanlux, De Sisti and so on, are among the most important for equipment for professional video production and digital cinema.
After a Milanese edition which, in the organizers’ declarations, was defined as “very successful” both for the quantity of visitors and for their high professional profile, the MicroSalon returns to its original location: Rome, the capital of Italian cinema. However, the location is new: not Cinecittà, like several previous editions, but the Leonardo da Vinci Studios in Fiumicino. It will be interesting to discover the most exciting innovations in digital cinema and high-level broadcast in a new location, waiting to be explored. The appointment is for 17-18-19 May 2024, in via delle Arti 171 in Fimicino, on the outskirts of Rome. There will be no shortage of updates but in the meantime, for those interested… save the date!
