Maxell Ltd is pleased to announce, in line with the expansion strategies of its distribution network, the new role of Elaine Casabuona as Head of Commercial and Marketing. In her new role, Elaine Casabuona will also be responsible for establishing new commercial and programming agreements with the main groups operating in the professional AV market
Elaine Casabuona has been working in the electronics and professional AV sector for over 20 years with assignments related to sales and marketing. Expert in commercial negotiation, marketing management and business development, she began her career at Hitachi Europe in 1989 in a Marketing for the Design department, working on heavy industry market.
In her long career she has held various roles, always linked to the enhancement of the brand and the development of the sales sector both in the B2B and B2C: arriving today as head of commercial and Marketing for the BSD Maxell Europe group.
In 2013 Maxell Ltd began a process of acquiring the design, development and manufacturing facilities of Hitachi Consumer Electronics video projectors; a process that was finalised on the 1st April 2019 through the European subsidiary of Maxell, which assumed responsibility for all operations relating to the diffusion on the European market of Maxell and Hitachi branded projectors and all related accessories. The transaction marked Maxell Ltd‘s entry into the global market for high-performance professional projectors, with the launch of a new line of products with low-maintenance Laser and LED light sources.
Following this process, in October 2020 Elaine Casabuona was promoted to the role of Head of Commercial and Marketing in the Maxell Business Solutions Division, with the task of developing commercial strategies and expanding sales, leveraging on intense dialogue and mutual reinforcement between the group’s marketing and sales activities.
In line with Maxell‘s strategies aimed at consolidating commercial activities for the B2B segment, since July 2020 Elaine Casabuona has been tasked with creating new commercial and programmatic agreements at European level with the main distribution groups operating in the AV market.
Maxell plans to further develop its presence in the European Professional Audio Video market, with its entire professional range of video projectors – lamp and laser, interactive, ultra-short-throw, for the installation and hi-end sector – and FDP (Flat Professional Display) and IFPD (Interactive Flat Panel Display) displays.
