Tech Data – A TD SYNNEX Company (NYSE: SNX), announced that at the 2022 Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), Maverick AV Solutions, Tech Data’s specialist audiovisual solutions division, has entered into a distribution agreement with Sennheiser, a leading global audio and microphone manufacturer and communications specialist.
Sennheiser solutions, now available through Maverick, meet the growing market demand for best-in-class audio experiences in the modern meeting space and will be available throughout the European radius.
The selection of meeting room technologies includes the newly announced TeamConnect Intelligent Speaker (TC ISP) for Microsoft Teams rooms and the bestselling TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone (TCC2). The agreement introduces Sennheiser to the IT channel, extending the reach of its meeting room audio solutions.
The TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone array, specially designed for ceiling installation, can be elegantly integrated into the environment of any meeting room and ensures that participants’ contributions are delivered with an exceptional level of detail, regardless of individual position in the room.

TeamConnect Ceiling 2 is ideal for medium to large meeting rooms with approximately 14 to 16 participants, equivalent to an area of 50 to 60 square meters. Multiple ceiling microphones can be combined with each other to achieve greater coverage, such as in very large or poorly shaped rooms. It is the perfect solution for all conference and meeting rooms where excellent speech intelligibility, easy management and seamless integration into the existing room environment is required.
As a Microsoft Teams certified intelligent speaker, the TC ISP is specifically designed to enable the hybrid workspace and allow team members to connect wherever they are. Using advanced speech recognition, the TC ISP distinguishes voices to automatically transcribe meetings, sending activity notifications and inviting participants to follow up meetings with due follow-up. Designed with an omnidirectional speaker with a range of 3.5 m and 7 built-in beamforming microphones, it provides a real-life experience for all participants and supports the new hybrid work environment.
