MADE Competence Center Industry 4.0, located within the Milan Bovisa Campus of the Politecnico di Milano, uses the Digital Signage system and numerous LG Electronics technologies to improve the user experience and the use of available technologies
The need behind the choice of MADE is to allow partners, customers and employees to work in synergy, simplifying communication and connection between people and making it easier to use corporate messages. To meet this need, more than 40 LG displays were installed including Ultra HD Signage Monitors, Touch Whiteboards, high brightness displays, and crowning the system with an all-in-one 136″ LED Screen display. 3P Technologies, system integrator partner of LG, takes care of the installation.
The MADE Competence Center is a digital factory that supports manufacturing companies in the digital transformation path towards Industry 4.0. MADE, presented to the press in Milan at the end of 2020, provides companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, with a wide range of knowledge, methods and tools on digital technologies for Industry 4.0, ranging from design to engineering, from production management to delivery, up to the management of the end of the product life cycle. Companies that turn to MADE are supported in a path of growth and adoption of new digital technologies to cover the entire life cycle of the product, and have the opportunity to touch and understand how the currently available solutions can be used to improve their competitiveness.
To offer visitors a taste of the technology inside, MADE has decided to install a 55” high brightness LG XE4F series display at the entrance, which welcomes visitors with informative details about the activities of the center. Inside, 34 LG Electronics UL3G and UM3 UHD signage monitors were installed, with sizes from 55” to 98”. The monitors reproduce informative contents about the technologies that can be experimented and allow you to recreate small meeting rooms in each technological island. The center is also equipped with a Virtual Room in which technologies are tested and simulated real environments for remote collaboration and training with the help of virtual reality. To allow more people to watch the scenarios, a 98” UHD signage monitor was installed outside.
The meeting rooms were also equipped with five 65”, 75” and 86” LG TR3BF series interactive whiteboards that support multi-touch and writing functions. The equipment is completed by a colossal 136” all-in-one LAEB series LED Screen display which, thanks to the motorized stand, can be positioned in different areas, according to needs. The contents on the various displays installed within the Competence Center are managed through LG SuperSign CMS, an all-in-one software that allows remote control of all monitors.
