Celebrating 35 years in business is a restart rather than a goal. Link wanted to bring together staff from the two continents where its offices are located and invite customers and partners for a time of celebration and sharing, to savor the Roman “dolce vita” together but above all to talk about the future.
Link Italy, the historic company that has been able to interpret the connectivity needs of the event as well as installation sectors, which overcame the pandemic by reinventing itself without forgetting its roots by launching the Link On Air line of air sanitization, last Sept. 8 and 9 welcomed partners, collaborators, and guests from Europe and the United States at its new headquarters in Rome, which was inaugurated only a few years ago.
Link, a manufacturer, and distributor of cables, connectors, and signal distribution products on the market under its LK Connectors, eurocable, PDlink, and Dglink brands and is active in the United States through its subsidiary, Link USA, Inc. in Middleton, Wisconsin.
Assunta Fratocchi Managing Director of Link: “This anniversary was an opportunity to celebrate with our partners from around the world, for the first time the full US staff was also present.”Bob Vanden Burgt, Vice President of Global Marketing of Link USA echoed: “We also wanted to involve many of our strategic partners and suppliers, drawing people from both sides of the Ocean.” The event had both an informative and convivial profile, a mix of meetings and gatherings, and a celebration.
On Wednesday evening, September 7, Link welcomed guests, especially staff arriving from the Wisconsin office, with refreshments at an exceptional location overlooking the Roman Forum and the Circus Maximus. The next day the guests gathered at Link’s headquarters for an evening of meetings: “We presented our offices,” Assunta Fratocchi told us, “our news, products, and plans for the future, but not only that: the staff were also able to talk about themselves and their work, so not only what we do but also how we do it and who we are. It was a very nice moment.”
The evening ended with a typical Roman dinner, while on Friday the guests were taken to the Auditorium Parco della Musica, where Link has been present since its opening with its supplies, and where it continues to play a leading role thanks to its long collaboration with its client Agorà, a service provider of the Auditorium, for the hundreds of events that are offered annually. Guests were able to tour the museum, learn more about the special architecture of the venue, and take an in-depth technical tour to learn more about Link’s contribution to this outstanding temple of music.
The day ended with a big party for all at the famous Kolbe Hotel gardens in Rome, of course including music, entertainment, and great food. The last word is from Mario Barba of Adam GmbH, Link’s newly appointed distributor for Germany: “We are Link’s youngest partner, and we are very happy to have been able to participate. It was a great event, we appreciated the hospitality and we look forward to a great cooperation.”
