Allnet Italia, an independent value-added distributor specialized in IT and telecommunications solutions, is the organizational engine of ICT Solutions Day which brings together system integrators, ISPs, resellers and installers. Held on September 14, in presence, at the Hotel Savoia Regency in Bologna, the event offered to Vendors and Partners of Allnet Italia the opportunity to meet and share experiences and innovation. Many topics were touched upon, from cyber security to Networking & Wireless, from Smart City to UCC (Unified Communications & Collaboration).
LG Electronics – as Gianmarco Totera told us, LG’s Business Solutions Division, with focus on the Educational and Retail markets – takes part in the Allnet event to present some new products, especially the new Interactive Digital Board.”
The new board is available in four different sizes (55”, 65”, 75” and 86”), with the new 98” model, to be presented in the future. It’s therefore a product in full expansion, very versatile, designed for the Educational but also for the Corporate markets, since it’s also very useful in meeting rooms and corporate spaces dedicated to Collaboration. The display offers UHD 4K definition and twenty simultaneous touches, with Android operating system.
“We have moved away from the classic proprietary WebOS” – explains Gianmarco Totera – “to meet the needs of the market. Android is a more versatile choice, many simple features of the Interactive Board go in the same direction: first of all, the Notes software, with the ability to create documents, take notes, etc. You can therefore save everything on a 32 Giga memory, but also in the Cloud, on Google Drive. Another interesting function is the sharing contents with the application already present on the whiteboard: you can share up to six devices at the same time, and it is also possible to use it the opposite way! In case of many participants in a meeting, people can see the content on the whiteboard on their laptops. A sort of sharing in reverse. Finally, an OPS slot allows you to insert, if necessary, an external PC.”
LG Electronics’ participation in the Allnet event confirms the strong commitment in the Educational market, from primary and high schools to universities. “Obviously – Gianmarco Dotera comments – “different strategies and approaches are needed for the different school levels. With the university world, everything is simpler, because the needs are well defined, while with lower-tier schools different methods must be adopted, and there is also greater slowness in adopting technological innovations. On the other hand” – concluded Dotera – “immersive teaching is an evident trend in Italian universities, private institutes are already launched in innovation, and our technologies make it possible to cover large surfaces, entire classrooms and even auditoriums and sharing spaces.”
