In a few days our offices will close for the summer break, but in the meantime here are a few ideas to take with us on holiday
Over the past few days we have fulfilled some of the last ‘tasks’ before the summer break, we have been visiting some companies since, in parallel with the best video conferences, we all continue to feel the need fof meetings in certain occasions: when, for example, with the interlocutor there is a particular familiarity or, on the contrary, we do not know each other well. We paid a visit to one of the main Italian operators in the sector: before the meeting, we toured the office, which houses various demonstration rooms of what systems integration can offer in various application fields, plus a surprise: some rooms were dedicated to the management, on behalf of customers, of various types of services, from data collection and management to cybersecurity. In practice, we were faced with a glimpse of what a business model based on the service and no longer on the product is, or at least of the association between the two. A model, increasingly practised in all sectors, which replaces the idea of possession with that of the exploitation of an asset, and which leads to increasingly close customer support at all stages. A cue that we will take with us on holiday, and which we will certainly return to in the future.
In the meantime, after a busy spring, the editorial team will take a short break: the offices will close on the 7th and we will return to you on 28 August, to talk to you (also) about an autumn that promises to be full of activities and proposals. Wish you fantastic holidays!
