The new Pro AV/IT All-in-One cable by Kramer is able to carry Kramer DGKat, 4K UHD HDBaseT and Ethernet signals
It’s called U/FTP CAT6a, but simply BC-UNIKat, the new Kramer multi-function cable that aims to answer all the needs of AV and IT fields. This new cable, in fact, replaces the previous cables BC-DGKat and BC-HDKat for all Kramer devices, promising optimal performance.
Let’s see the main features: the cable consists of four pairs of 23AWG stranded copper conductors, individually shielded. The pairs of conductors are also wrapped by an unshielded outer coating.
In terms of compatibility, BC-UNIKat “embraces” many cable types: DIGIKat, 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, Gigabit and HDBaseT networks. The new cable, in fact, is particularly recommended for HDBaseT broadcasts.
It’s, finally, a “safe” cable in the event of fire, as it is low smoke and halogen free.
