It’s called MV-4X and it’s the new Kramer matrix with four HDMI inputs and two outputs (HDMI and HDBT), perfect for real-time video switching.
The latest from the Kramer world is the MV−4X, a high performance HDMI matrix with integrated scaling technology and multi-wiew options. It’s an ideal solution for monitoring or viewing multiple sources simultaneously, designed for applications such as control rooms, conference rooms or training rooms. MV-4X offers video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4: 4: 4 and LPCM audio up to 7.1ch and 192kHz, on both inputs and outputs. In addition, the MV−4X is fully compatible with HDCP 1.x and 2.3 standards.
Two outputs available to users: HDMI and HDBT. Users can choose to view any of the four HDMI sources individually, in full screen or in multi-view mode, with various options (quad, PiP and PoP) on both outputs. Alternatively, the MV−4X offers a seamless 4×2 matrix switching option with zero-time video cutting. The product also supports chroma-keying functionality and allows you to create overlays of logos or graphics in real time. The control and management of the various functions of the product is possible both via the OSD buttons on the front panel, via Ethernet (with integrated web pages) and via RS − 232. Among the most important features of the new MV-4X, the smooth and continuous screen transitions, with seamless switching functionality, which avoids black screens, and the aforementioned four-screen multi-view mode, which allows you to view video from four different sources at the same time.
The ideal habitat of the new Kramer MV-4X can be found in conference rooms of all sizes, but also in sports centers, control or surveillance rooms, in places open to the public such as bars and, ultimately, wherever you have need to offer an elegant and detailed audiovisual experience, in high definition (up to 4K) and enhanced by the possibility of inserting dynamic backgrounds thanks to the chroma key function.
