With the launch of the new GH8 speaker, KGEAR completes its well-known GH series of compact, high-quality speakers
KGEAR has chosen the InfoComm in Las Vegas, scheduled for June, to officially launch the new GH8 compact speaker model, which completes the GH series. The KGEAR brand is an integral part of the broader K-array ecosystem, dedicated to designing and manufacturing high-quality professional audio solutions for everyday use.
Based on the previous GH4 model, the new GH8 includes a full-range 8” dual cone woofer capable of producing a very rich and round sound, in a comfortable form factor. With 129 dB SPL per single device, GH8 guarantees a remarkable audio experience, based on K-array engineering.
One of the distinctive features of the GH8 is the integration of cardioid technology, which gives more precise directionality to the sound, minimizing unwanted noise and allowing designers to build the ideal sound experience for each environment. Whether used as a point-source box or configured in an array of up to eight units, the new GH8 lends itself to many applications, including fixed installations, such as those in hospitality environments, and live events.
In fact, with its IP64 outdoor protection rating, GH8 is designed to be installed in any environment. Additionally, available accessories are designed to meet the needs of system integrators, from long-term installations to quick setup and teardown projects. The new GH8 works very well, moreover, with the Kommander K-array amplifiers, and can be viewed directly and experienced first-hand during a series of audio demos scheduled at InfoComm, in the dedicated N206 audio demo room, from the 12th to June 14, 2024.
Lorenzo De Poi, Brand Manager of KGEAR, summarized this interesting innovation as follows: “The new GH8 model represents a significant step forward in our commitment to providing cutting-edge audio solutions. With its combination of Pure Array Technology (PAT) and Slim Array Technology (SAT), GH8 strikes a perfect balance between elegant design and powerful performance. Yes
thus completes the GH family, bridging the gap between the versatile and popular GH4 and the powerful GH12.”
