What brings together these three renowned realities? A place – the Juventus Stadium – which goes beyond football, and is proposed as a modern, multifunctional building, and an event that took place on May 16, opening the doors of this “futuristic temple” to a large group of lucky guests
Fabio Concezzi, CEO of Intermark Sistemi, has no doubt: “Juventus Stadium is not just a football stadium! It’s a building that works 364 days a year, where events of various nature, presentations, meetings, etc. are held continuously. In a similar environment, the lighting system, not just for soccer field but also for many multifunctional indoor spaces, is a key element.”
Of this futuristic stadium, Intermark Sistemi has designed and put into operation all indoor lighting and motor lighting controls: vip areas, restaurants, multifunctional environments, and so on. Last year, the entire plant – albeit not old enough – has been radically refurbished for lighting by Philips, which has proposed and installed innovative and avant-garde solutions in line with the importance of site. As Fabio Concezzi explains, “all internal circuits are dimmered. LED lights can be used to calibrate indoor environments in black-and-white or red, gray, green depending on the type of event. In larger environments, you can even control the single lamp. All this, with handheld or smartphone management, that also the end user can use directly.”
The event on May 16, titled “Dynalite SHOW”, started at 17am and ended after 21pm, with a show of lights on the soccer field, and was thought to be a guided tour – with particular attention to lighting – of most inaccessible spaces in the stadium: team halls, locker rooms, massage area, press room…
Simone D’Ambrosio, Intermark Commercial Manager, introduced the visit, while the engineer Luigi Sallustio spoke as project manager, having designed all the Philips Dynalite controls for the plant. Finally, Filippo Cerea and Matteo Biasoni of Philips Italia have illustrated the entire lighting engineering case study, providing very interesting data on the number of lights used and the achieved energy savings.
The great success of the event – addressed to installers, consultants and customers of Intermark Sistemi – has made it impossible to confirm the participation of all members. This is why Intermark has already announced that in October the event will be replicated to give other interested parties the opportunity to participate.
