Epson’s complete range of projectors and visual communication technologies is protagonist, accompanied by special immersive installations, on stand 3J100 at ISE 2024.
A valuable international opportunity to learn about the transformative potential of projection in various fields: art and entertainment, education, office, retail, leisure and culture. “At ISE we bring our lightweight and compact high-brightness projectors,” explains Carla Conca, Senior Business Manager Videoprojector at Epson Italia. “Our 3LCD projection platform is a benchmark for quality and flexibility: it allows us to reduce not only installation time and shipping costs, but also the environmental impact in the 20,000 lumen projector market. On our stand at ISE, visitors can admire the impressive immersive umbrella projection, but also discover the latest Epson 3LCD technology.
Immersed in the umbrella
We start with an innovative example of immersive projection: a giant umbrella cascading in technicolour to celebrate festivals around the world, including the Barcelona Carnival, Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival, Children’s Day (Tango No Sekku) the Children’s Day (Kodomo-no-hi) and the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japan, the AgitÁgueda Art Festival in Portugal, the Busan International Fireworks Festival (South Korea) and the Yi Peng & Loy Krathong, the typical Thai lantern festival.
New frontier in 4K projection
Epson’s EB-PQ2220B with 4K technology is a 20,000 lumens projector with compact size and light weight, which also reduces waste from packaging and transport, storage and installation. It incorporates the company’s patented technologies and uses the same interchangeable 4K lenses as the current EB-PU series. It offers not only the highest image quality, but also ease of installation, configuration and maintenance. It combines proprietary technologies such as 4K Crystal Motion, thermal panel control and dual MLA matrix, resulting in optimal sharpness results. Customised 4K graphics processing, memory bandwidth and data transmission complete the pluses.
Office and education technologies
In partnership with Purple Digital Storytelling, Epson also illustrates the power of projection in a range of corporate activities: presentations, digital showrooms, sales proposals, product training, employee onboarding and meetings in large companies. The technology behind Epson projectors, in combination with Purple’s Hyro 3D software, ensures maximum visitor engagement through highly professional interactive digital content. Also on stage at ISE is Microsoft Team’s Front Row, an innovative, immersive and inclusive layout for hybrid meetings, which allows remote users to feel as if they were present.
Epson video projection also supports the digital transformation in education. The Interactive Teaching System, a complete stand-alone solution comprising three EB-770Fi ultra-short-throw interactive projectors, is the ideal kit for schools. They can purchase an immersive, interactive classroom without the worry of finding the right space (a 3mx3m classroom is sufficient) and having to do renovation work. In addition, the solution uses an open and secure web-based system to facilitate teaching work.
All Optics
Also on the ISE stand is the wide range of interchangeable lenses. In fact, Epson offers an excellent compatibility of 4K lenses, available for various projector models with brightness ranging from 6,000 to 20,000 lumens. One example is the LX series, which includes compatible ultra-short lenses up to 30,000 lumens, capable of projecting 200-inch images from just 1.5m.
