Distributed in Italy by Prase Media Technologies, the famous Amina Sound brand of invisible acoustic speakers has launched updated models of the Mobius and Edge series with EN54 certification, anticipated at ISE 2023 as one of the most exciting new products of the year
The name Amina is easily associated with the idea of an invisible loudspeaker: The patented VPT (Vibrational Pannel Technology) and extremely slim design of Amina speakers, allows them to be installed inside the wall, transforming it into a surface capable of diffusing sound thanks to a special “exciter,” allowing sound to fill a room without the need for bulky visible speakers, thus realizing ideal installations particularly in commercial applications. The walls where the speakers are installed can be decorated with wallpaper, fabric, wood trim, and even stone, without compromising the quality of sound diffusion.
To expand its commercial offerings and ensure higher levels of safety for users, the brand has launched a new series of EN54-certified invisible loudspeakers, which perfectly replicate the previous models in terms of acoustic performance and construction quality, but with technical shrewdness that has allowed them to successfully pass the various independent tests by which they obtained EN54 certification.
In fact, the international EN54 standard specifies the acoustic, construction and strength requirements for a loudspeaker to be suitable for use in public and commercial buildings, where the installation of voice alarm systems is required by law.
The Mobius and Edge series models (all 4 Ohm with power ratings of 30/60W, 50/100W and 75/150W, respectively) are explicitly designed for applications such as hotels, swimming pools, stores, offices open to the public, hospitals, stations, supermarkets and schools, and, having passed rigorous independent testing, are now EN54 certified, so they can also be used in their own right for the installation of voice alarm systems.
