It’s called TXA100 the Hager proposal for simple configuration of KNX modules in home automation projects
A configuration kit, which enables the programming of systems in residential and small tertiary sector: this is TXA100. It can be interfaced via WiFi to any tablet or PC and allows the “touch” program by using a browser or the free “easy tool” app. All this, in order to further simplify the approach to home automation projects, in particular for the modules of the “easy KNX” range, dedicated to the creation of automations in residential and commercial sectors. With this product, you can avoid the use of ETS software, notoriously complex and articulated. The configuration server is in fact included in the kit and allows interfacing between IP network, devices connected to it and KNX bus system. In addition to the server, TXA100 incorporates a KNX bus power supply, a WiFi access router and an ethernet cable.
Among the advantages using TXA100 there is the possibility, when the server is connected to a network with internet access, to remotely configure the KNX installation, via cloud, without having to use static IP addresses. This new Hager configurator is also compatible with the previous version, from which it can import any project maintaining parameters and group addresses.
Very interesting, finally, the relearning function that rereads the configuration present within the plant products, allowing then the regeneration of the project without disposing of the original one. With TXA100 we can thus achieve KNX systems for any application in residential and small tertiary, but also create complete automation scenarios and integrate innovative products for climate and energy management and load control.
