From the new HDL410 audio conferencing system to all the integrations for quality interactions in corporate or educational environments: proposals from Nureva at ISE 2023.
How many times in “hybrid” meetings have we found ourselves either suffering or trying to solve audio problems? Nureva’s solutions for conferences, classrooms and workplaces that mix physical and virtual presence start right here: at the heart of every system, whether for Unified Communications or hybrid learning, is the patented Microphone Mist technology, which can place thousands of virtual microphones in spaces and pick up sound anywhere in the room, ensuring clear and reliable listening experiences even those attending remotely.
We saw it at work directly at the ISE 2023 booth, where James Rempel, Director of Product Management, and Shari-Lynn Sare, Public Relations Manager at Nureva told us about the latest innovations. Beginning with the HDL410 system, which was for the occasion connected in real time with a colleague inside a large room at the company’s Canadian headquarters, just to show the ISE audience the potential of this widespread approach to audio in hybrid meetings. Indeed, the latest addition to the Nureva product line, the HDL410 offers professional AV performance even extra-large spaces without requiring the cost and complexity of a multi-component system. “The shift to hybrid environments is transforming the way we work and learn,” explains James Rempel, “Nureva is concretely offering an opportunity to meet this challenge with smart, plug-and-play products, benefiting IT professionals who need to ensure maximum performance while often having limited time and resources. Nureva’s two microphone and speaker bars, integrated with the Microphone Mist technology connection module and unified coverage map, deliver top audio performance in environments up to 10.7 x 16.8 meters in size. Pioneering a new era of collaboration solutions, the HDL410 system also won the Top New Technology Award, sponsored by Commercial Integrator magazine, in the “Audio Conferencing Components” category.
Further integrations and certifications of Nureva AV systems also go in the direction of greater support for IT managers. In particular, just in Barcelona, the ability to perform sound localization even with third-party cameras was unveiled, allowing technicians to easily implement Nureva products into existing workflows. Available through the Nureva Developer Toolkit, the sound localization device API is part of the broad spectrum of partnership programs already underway with leading PTZ camera manufacturers, such as AVer and Lumens, for example. Also in the vein of excellent audio and simplified planning is the upgrade of the Nureva Console cloud platform with monitoring of any third-party camera connected via USB. Another step toward interoperability and seamless management and enjoyment of AV systems in meeting rooms and classrooms.
