Micrometric calibration of projectors is like an art: it is a matter of minimal details and construction perfection. Euromet launches the KITE and FALKON solutions that, it seems, fear no rivals
Professional projectors often require extremely high-precision micrometric calibration systems. Euromet’s KITE and FALKON solutions, protected by specific patents and dedicated to specific projectors, offer extremely high-precision micrometric adjustment systems, with the addition of a new, convenient ceiling plate that is easy to insert and very safe.
The basic patent for the KITE series was filed in 2019, and since then it has been used by Euromet to build ever new products and to satisfy the installation needs that arise over time. The patents, therefore, guarantee the originality and uniqueness of the solutions and allow Euromet to invest with determination in research and development, to offer customers always cutting-edge products.
The KITE series consists of innovative and patented professional supports for video projectors, which allow micrometric adjustments to be made on the three rotation axes while ensuring stable and constant calibration in a fixed position over time. KITE products are based on three distinct support points (two lateral and one rear), each of which allows micrometric adjustment of pitch and roll through a system composed of vertical threaded rods and articulated bearings. Each of the three points is self-aligning, so by adjusting one point, the other two adapt their inclination accordingly. This innovative idea makes the system more practical and intuitive, usable in any situation, making the installer’s job easier. Once the desired position has been reached, the system remains fixed, stable and constant over time, avoiding the need for continuous calibration.
The KITE series products cover all needs and are dedicated to specific projectors. KITE Compact, for example, is a micrometric adjustment system equipped with a standard Euromet attachment both above and below, suitable for all Epson EB series and PU series projectors.
KITE Maxi, on the other hand, is also compatible with Panasonic 3-chip DLP projectors, while the aforementioned KITE Ceiling, a new ceiling plate with quick attachment that offers a wide range of fixing points, allows for creative and brilliant installations.
FALKON deserves a separate mention, a bracket for large truss projectors with micrometric calibration up to 8° in the three axes, with micrometric rotation up to 6° and a quick hanging system. FALKON minimizes the space between the projector and the truss or ceiling support, ensuring ease of installation in all orientations (landscape, portrait and floor).
KITE and FALKON are very useful supports both for fixed installations, for example museums and corporate, and for rental applications. The increasingly widespread immersive installations, which require very accentuated angles and extremely high precision and stability, are among the most suitable applications for Euromet adjustable supports.
But how do you find your way among all these proposals and all the accessories that KITE and FALKON bring with them? How do you build the solution that suits your needs? Simple: the renewed Euromet website offers a practical configurator that for each product category proposes specific subcategories of accessories and optionals, easily consultable by integrators to design the most suitable solution.
