Elation Professional, distributed in Italy by Audio Effetti, presented the new Smarty MAX moving head, which extends the Smarty family by updating and improving the features of Smarty Hybrid.
The new member of the well-known Smarty family by Elation Professional is called Smarty MAX, a large stage moving head, improved 3-in-1 version of the already known Smarty Hybrid, equipped with the same technology but twice as bright as its predecessor. In short, Smarty MAX is a combination of savings and performance, with high power and long lamp life in a hybrid device, compact and light, flexible, ideal for many types of applications.
Smarty MAX offers a beam/spot/wash beam of 20.000 lumens, thanks to the newly developed Platinum FLEX 400 lamp combined with the 160 mm optic diameter. The FLEX 400 lamp has a nominal power of 480W and offers up to 4000 hours of life. The lamp can work with three different powers – 370, 440 and 480W – ensuring energy savings and greater efficiency. The hibernation mode reduces the power of the lamp when it’s not used and the particular heat management prolongs the life not only of the lamp but of all the internal components of the appliance.
With CMY + CTO color mixing, thirteen dichroic colors and UV and CTB color correction, Smarty MAX also offers a wide spectrum of color options. The zoom is able to adjust the beam quickly and uniformly in all three modes, from 1° in beam mode to a powerful light at 39° in wash mode.
Also interesting is the complete set of graphic effects that allows a high number of visual combinations. The two gobo wheels with eight interchangeable glass rotating gobos and fifteen metal gobos with static printing allow interesting high-contrast mid-air effects. Smarty MAX also adds some creative features like the four overlapping prisms, the two frost to regulate the diffusion and the particular double-track animation wheel.
Smarty MAX is covered by Elation’s Ultimate Warranty program, which covers the first two years of operation or 4000 hours of use, depending on which of the two conditions occurs first, as well as the regular maintenance of the appliance and the lamp.
