EET Group’s targeted expansion strategy continues, through the acquisition of important and well-established European distribution companies: Tridis for the Benelux area, Config for the French market
EET Group grows and expands, strengthening its structure in several countries and continuing with the plotted policy of targeted acquisitions aimed at improving the Group’s presence in Europe.
After the acquisition of Config, a distributor specializing in networking, one of the business fields experiencing very rapid growth and among EET’s cores, it was the turn of Tridis, the leading Belgian distributor. EET Group thus demonstrates that it has a well-defined expansion strategy, focusing on both organic growth and selected acquisitions.
Config
Config is a company that has been active in the computer and network security market for more than 20 years.
An investment aimed at strengthening EET Group’s presence in the French network solutions market, and in particular in the cybersecurity market through well-known and recognized brands such as Trend Micro, Sophos, Cambium, Ruckus and many others, the acquisition of Config, which dates back to December 2022, represents an extraordinary opportunity for EET.
Richard Grégoire, Managing Director of EET France, said, “Networking is now the common denominator of all our products and solutions, and the development of cybersecurity will enable the Group to complete its offering by proposing secure network solutions to customers. Tridis
A further step toward strengthening its European presence, and in particular in the Benelux, EET Group took it most recently in April with the acquisition of Belgium’s largest distributor, Tridis.
Founded in 1996, tridis has recorded a 58 percent increase in sales over the past four years. With the acquisition, finalized in April this year, EET Group’s employees in Belgium and those of Tridis will effectively join forces, under the leadership of Philippe Christiaens, founder of Tridis. This union will result in a highly qualified organization able to offer a broad portfolio of brands to the thousands of customers in the important Benelux Area.
