SPS, Italy’s leading trade fair for Automation and Digital for Industry, taking place in Parma, Italy, from 28-30 May, will have Eaton, a company specialising in intelligent energy management, among its exhibitors
Eaton will be exhibiting at SPS 2024, Italy’s leading trade fair for Automation and Digital for Industry, to be held from 28th to 30th May in Parma. The company will have a dedicated space in Hall 6, stand D060, where it will showcase its solutions to address a wide range of needs, such as simplifying machine architecture, with compact SLC signalling columns that are very simple and streamlined, adapt to a wide variety of applications and preserve the aesthetic appearance of the systems in which they are integrated, such as machines, conveyors, logistics systems or supermarket checkouts. All models are equipped with three continuous light elements in red, yellow and green, and in many of these, the red light can operate in flashing mode. The optional acoustic module emits an intermittent sound at 70 decibels to ensure that the signal is clearly audible.
Also interesting is the S711, a softstarter in the mid-range of the market, with IP20 and IP00 protection.
Another stated aim is to facilitate industrial automation from an Industry 5.0 perspective, and this is where the easyE4 control relay comes in, designed for low to medium complexity automation applications and equivalent, in terms of functionality, to a small programmable logic controller (PLC).
Also of great importance is meeting the demands of the DC (direct current) market, with Breaktor, a circuit protection technology aimed at the electric vehicle sector, which combines the functionality of fuses, circuit breakers and contactors into a single coordinated device, offering fast, safe and reliable protection for batteries, fast-charging systems and high-power inverters.
And finally, Eaton is also aiming to educate on the UL offering in the light of the new NEC2023 by promoting a targeted series of training events across the country. At SPS 2024, Eaton will bring a dedicated wall featuring its product portfolio specifically for the UL market.
The company’s presence in Parma will also focus on topics such as the production of energy-efficient machines according to ISO 50001 and the application of IoT technologies in industry.
During the show, Marco Chiari, Sales Director MOEM Global Accounts at Eaton, and Massimo Bartolotta, Commercial Operations Manager Italy at Eaton, will be on hand to discuss market scenarios, the company’s vision and its advanced solutions that enable machine builders to create increasingly intelligent, compact, reliable, cost-effective and efficient applications, with real values that meet the needs of today’s market.
Last but not least, the Eaton stand will not be lacking a “tasty” application example: an ice cream production machine, built in collaboration with a partner company, will be in operation. Appointment in Parma, therefore, for STS 2024.
