KanexPro SW-HDSC4X1KVM is a new KVM scaler/switcher which, thanks to its Quadview processor, makes it possible to view and control four different devices (PC, DVR or other) both in Quad and single screen mode. In short, with a single mouse and keyboard, you can easily control all connected devices, switching from one screen to another with the mouse cursor (in Quad View mode) or using the hotkeys on the keyboard.
SW-HDSC4X1KVM supports resolutions up to 4k@60Hz 4:4:4 with the possibility of scaling individual windows up to 1080p@60Hz in Quad mode. In single screen mode, on the other hand, the product allows for seamless switching. The device can be controlled via RS232, in Telnet, and with its WebGui or IR remote control it also allows the audio de-embedding of the selected video source.
The solution distributed by Exhibo supports and upscales up to 4K at 60 Hz also in output, with 4: 4: 4 colour sampling, in addition to Deep Color and HDCP 1.4/2.2. Up to five units can be cascaded to control up to sixteen host devices using a single keyboard and mouse set. The firmware update can be simply done via USB port, and the product – which has a three-year warranty – occupies a single 19” rack unit, with practicality and ease of installation in any environment.
In terms of applications, KanexPro SW-HDSC4X1KVM is ideal for video surveillance, broadcasting, control rooms and environments such as server rooms, workstations for expert users, hospitality structures and in general, for any location where more than one video source as cameras, computer, server or DVR needs to be managed with a single combination of mouse and keyboard.
