The name of a composer (Italian, obviously!) who is still famous all over the world today, the vocation for systems that integrate audio and automation, and almost 60 years of history. We discover, in the words of CEO Francesco Buran, the all-Made in Italy world of Vivaldi.
Being able to speak directly with the leaders is the only way to truly discover, from the inside, the realities of our country, very rich – as is known – in talents and admired abroad for the expertise of its productions. Vivaldi is no exception, a professional audio brand born in 1996 from the union of some partners who share a long previous experience in this sector.
Francesco Buran, CEO of the group, presents the company as follows: “It is a dynamic company, characterised by short reaction times and the desire to innovate. Already in 1998 Vivaldi had created an innovative flush-mounted multiroom system for controlling audio and video. In the following years we have increasingly developed the home automation side, after all, one of Vivaldi’s strengths over the years has always been the research and development team, which is young and dynamic, dedicated to studying the needs of the market and developing specific products based on the requests. We also try to always have the full range of products available in stock, which allows us to serve customers quickly, especially at this time. ”
Vivaldi thus puts on the market its idea of Made in Italy, for example, the line of ZEN speakers, available in three types: exclusively for audio diffusion, for audio and lighting or for audio, lighting and with the possibility of adding subwoofers. In addition, the company specialises in multiroom systems: the launch of the first compact flush-mounted mini-audio system dates back to 2010, equipped with an amplifier, Bluetooth control and various audio management functions. In the following years, the improvement of the system led to a real multiroom AV home automation control with remote management via Android and iOs, in practice since 2011 Vivaldi allowed the control via smartphone of the various products that make up its sound diffusion systems. “Assistance – continues Buran – is another strength of Vivaldi. Our main customers are System Integrators, but also installers and distributors of electrical equipment: it should be remembered that we also cover sound evacuation systems, even for large installations such as shopping centres, hotels, etc. ‘Audio that has not stopped, even throughout the pandemic, since these are mandatory systems, so it has allowed us to maintain a good turnover even in difficult times.”
And finally, what does Francesco Buran see in Vivaldi’s immediate future? “Our main objective is to maintain an innovative proposal for products and services, also with voice control, given the spread of systems such as Alexa. We also want to make ourselves known more and more internationally, and participation in the last ISE was decided with this in mind. A splendid experience that confirmed to me that the brand is known all over the world: we must work to achieve further goals in a short time and improve our presence in the countries that interest us most, and in which Made in Italy is most appreciated.”
