Philips’ success in participating in ISE 2018 rewards their focus on integrating smart platforms for content and solution management into their professional displays.
Video itineraries in the name of digital communication and technological innovation, with the same reliability as always. For ISE 2018, Philips Professional Display Solutions chose the way of integration, with solutions from over 30 partners installed in various contexts, following a concept founded on the three main keys of the Philips universe: Impactful Heritage, Innovative Technology and Meaningful Solutions. These values were transformed into quality objectives and underpin the technological innovations put into play primarily in the software environment, thanks to collaboration with developers of global prominence.
Displays, software, apps… public engagement is served
The first highly-appreciated examples of this digital strategy were the new line of LCD Displays with integrated Android and large-scale screens, and the advanced version of the CMND software platform that improves the management of displays and content, thanks to the new Deploy and Check-In extensions. In fact, CMND & Deploy allow the user to swiftly manage settings and install or update applications remotely, while CMND & Check-In increases the possibilities for personalization and efficiency, moving towards new interactive experiences dedicated particularly to the hospitality sector.
Among the new products at ISE 2018 was the evolution of the Q-Line entry level series with new UltraHD large-scale displays, up to 86”, with integrated SoC Android, a concrete expression of what Philips intends regarding “Impactful Heritage,” which is dedication to combining technological excellence, quality and value. Digital communication is instead at the center of the D-Line middle level series, expanded with two new large-scale displays of 86” and 98” that are equipped with the latest version of the Android operating system (7.1.2 Nougat), which allows for streamlining solutions and increasing public involvement in commercial contexts. Finally, a source of pride is the recent collaboration with TeamViewer for remote support that, thanks to the TeamViewer app that has been preinstalled on the displays, allows immediate access to and full control of the screens through Android TM, regardless of location.
