Presented the new mydlink Smart Full HD Wi-Fi model and the new updated version of Mini Full HD Wi-Fi, the best-selling camera in the D-Link price list, with motion detection based on artificial intelligence
D-Link has presented two new cameras of the mydlink series equipped with a wide range of intelligent detection functions, specially designed to guarantee high quality surveillance in different indoor environments. Designed for homes or small offices, the mydlink Smart Full HD Wi-Fi camera (DCS-8325LH) and the Mini Full HD Wi-Fi camera (DCS-8000LHV2), in the version based on Artificial Intelligence, are designed for surveillance smart home and are easy to install and remotely accessible.
The Smart Full HD Wi-Fi camera is equipped with an AI-based intelligent motion detection system and offers several options for framing and notifications. Users can specify which types of movement they want to be detected, to differentiate between an intruder and a dog or object that crosses a defined border or enters a specific area. You can also define multiple zones, and immediately receive a notification when movement is detected in specific areas. The DCS-8325LH is also equipped with features such as integrated night vision, 1080p resolution, a microSD card slot for local recording saving, two-way audio functionality and WPA3 Wi-Fi security protocol. Its 151° wide angle lens allows you to keep a large area under control with a single video camera.
D-Link also presented the update of the Mini Full HD Wi-Fi camera (DCS-8000LHV2), its best-selling model: equally compact in design, the camera has been updated with Full HD 1080p resolution, Wi-Fi WPA3 security and motion detection based on artificial intelligence, significantly reducing false alarms.
Both cameras are compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, offering the convenience of voice control, and are compliant with the S. ONVIF profile, for additional flexibility when integrating with compatible network video recorders (NVRs) and video management systems (VMS).
Finally, both models are configurable and controllable via the mydlink App for smartphones and tablets. Users can take advantage of the free mydlink Cloud Recording, which stores the recorded videos for 24 hours in their personal cloud archive. Alternatively, there is also a range of paid options that offer record keeping for up to 30 days.
